Wallace-Cross Mill in Felton, Pennsylvania, is a preserved nineteenth-century grist mill that worked continuously from 1826 until the 1980s using water power from Rambo Run. Originally driven by a wooden overshot wheel, it received a steel Fitz wheel in 1922 and later became notable for restoration centered on about 1950, when Harry Cross operated it at its peak. Ownership stayed largely within connected Wallace and Cross families after 1840, and Cross donated the property to York County in 1979. Recognized on state and national historic registers in 1977, it now operates as a museum with restored machinery, furnished work spaces, and public tours.
