This was the home site of Isaac Ingalls Stevens, the first Territorial Governor of Washington, and his wife, Margaret Hazard Stevens, as well as Elisha P. Ferry, a Territorial governor and future first State Governor, and his wife, Sarah Kellogg Ferry. The home was erected in 1856 and razed in 1929.
