The first Presbyterian Church of Everett was established in February 1892. In 1897, the wood frame steepled church was moved from Maple Street between Hewitt and Pacific to this location on the corner of Rockefeller and Wall, on land provided by Henry Hewitt's Everett Land Company. In 1910, the present sanctuary replaced the original structure and was dedicated on September 11, 1910 by Reverend Edward McLeod. The large bell on display in front of the church was shipped around the horn for the original church building. During the ministry of Dr. Mortimer Spocker, The Steeple, Westminster Hall, and the Educational Wing were added. First Presbyterian is the oldest church in the city of Everett.
