The Boxwood Alumnae House was built on Elijah Road in 1920 as an inn for guests on campus. Converted into a small dormitory in the nineteen sixties in response to increased enrollment at the College, it was later renovated through the generosity of an anonymous alumna to become the headquarters of the Alumnae Association in 1993.
