Buffalo North Breakwater South End Light is a small harbor lighthouse long associated with the entrance to Buffalo Harbor in Buffalo, New York. First lit on September 1, 1903, it originally stood at the south end of the north breakwater and was one of the harbor’s distinctive bottle-shaped beacons, paired with the South Buffalo North Side Light. Built of boiler plate, the 29-foot structure had cast-iron port windows, a curved iron door, and a 6th-order Fresnel lens. Altered around 1960, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, removed from the harbor in 1985, and preserved at the Buffalo Main Light grounds as a rare Great Lakes beacon form.
