Young men of the Civilian Conservation Corps lived and worked at Gilbert Lake State Park in Laurens, New York, as Camp SP-11, Company 212, from 1933 to 1941. Their legacy is reflected in the many park roads, buildings, and other facilities they constructed 50 years ago, which are still serving the public today.
