Pixie Mountain is a 4,058-foot peak in North Carolina’s High Country in the community of Linville. Standing beside the Linville River, it forms part of the local mountain landscape, with most of Linville lying to its east and north. The Linville Bypass, NC 181, passes around its western side. Rather than a separate developed destination, the mountain is chiefly significant for its natural setting, elevation, and position along the river at the edge of the Linville community.
