Arcadia honors the memory of its soldiers, sailors, and marines of all wars, especially naming local dead from World War I and World War II, and it also recalls service across the American Revolution, the War of 1812, the Civil War, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, Desert Storm and Desert Shield, and the Cold War and peacetime. It gives totals killed or missing in action for World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and Desert Storm and Desert Shield, and it honors all living and deceased members of the United States Army, United States Marine Corps, United States Navy, United States Air Force, United States Coast Guard, and Merchant Marine, while remembering those who died and those missing in action.
