Barbee Cemetery contains about 120 graves on a hilltop known as Barbee Mountain, the site of the Barbee family plantation. It includes engraved headstones for William Barbee, son of Old Kit, and his wife, Gaskey. William Barbee was a merchant and a member of the House of Commons in 1819. One of his great-granddaughters was Mary Lily Kenan Flagler.
