Duluth Union Depot was completed in 1892, was designed by R.S. Peabody and J.G. Stearns of Boston, and was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1971. It is associated with the St. Louis County Historical Society and the St. Louis County Heritage and Arts Center centennial dedication on July 12, 1992, and the dedication was by the Masonic fraternity under Edward W. Waldon, MW Grand Master.
