The A-26 Counter-Invader first entered production in August 1943 and was last flown in combat on 9 November 1969. It served in World War II, Korea, and Southeast Asia, and it is dedicated to U.S.A.F. personnel who flew the aircraft, especially the aircrew members who gave their lives in defense of the United States and freedom-loving people everywhere. It also honors comrades lost in the A/B-26 between 1961 and 1969.
