Becker County constructed this courthouse in cooperation with the Works Progress Administration of the Federal Works Agency, with S. L. Stolte serving as State Administrator, Harry Phinney as District Manager, W. R. Koester as District Engineer, Albert Garvik as Area Supervisor, and Fred Boltz as Construction Superintendent during 1941-1942.
