Illilouette Fall is a 381-foot waterfall in Yosemite National Park, created by Illilouette Creek as it drops through a small canyon in the south wall of Yosemite Valley across from Vernal Fall. It is visible from popular routes on the valley’s south side, including the Mist Trail and John Muir Trail, though its visibility changes with seasonal water flow and it may vanish in dry months. A broader view is available from the Panorama Trail. The fall is difficult to approach because no maintained trail leads to its base. Its name has uncertain origins and may preserve a distorted form of an older Ahwahneechee name recorded by Lafayette Bunnell.
