Bomoseen State Park is a 3,576-acre Vermont state park in the Taconic Mountains spanning Castleton, Fair Haven, Hubbarton, and Benson. Along the western shore of Lake Bomoseen and around nearby Glen Lake, it combines lakeshore, forest, and pond landscapes, including the camping area associated with Half Moon Pond State Park. Outdoor recreation defines the park, with boating, swimming, fishing, hiking, picnicking, wildlife watching, and winter sports, supported by facilities such as a swim beach, boat rentals, and camp services. Ranger-led programs add guided activities, and its connected campgrounds and trails make it one of the larger multi-use outdoor destinations in this part of Vermont.
