Bridge Hill Park takes its name from a bridge formerly located there. The Pennsylvania Railroad built the bridge in the late 1800's, and in 1953 its superstructure was replaced with a humpback design. Stones from the original bridge were used in the current landscaping. In the spring of 2004, Joshua Hanna constructed the park as an Eagle Scout Project with help and generous financial support from members of the community.
