Blue Springs Baptist Church was organized in 1891 as part of the West Judson Association. The congregation met in several buildings before purchasing its current six-acre property, which included a school building, in 1960. A parsonage was built the following year, the present church building was completed in 1972, and a gymnasium and fellowship hall were added in 1977. In 2016, the church celebrated its 125th anniversary.
