In December 1682, William Penn attended a General Meeting of "Friends" on the Choptank River after a visit to Lord Baltimore at Col. Thomas Tailler's in Ann Arundel Co. Philemon Lloyd with some horsemen waited on Penn by order of Lord Baltimore.
