Arlington, Tennessee, honors the sons and daughters of the community who gave their lives in service to their country and all those who served in defense of the country for liberty and freedom. Those named are World War II servicemen Sam Wells, Logan Williams, Hughes Wynne Sessum, Jr., and Henry Masters; Korean War serviceman John Horace Griffin; and Vietnam War servicemen Larry Washington, Donald Laney, Clarence Pennington, Richard Wiseman, and Raymond W. Richardson.
