Erath Sugar Refinery was built in 1910. In 1914, the Erath Sugar Company, LTD. acquired this bell from the Rose Hill refinery, and it was used to summon canefield workers. It was dedicated to the Les Travailleuses Club during the Bicentennial Year on April 20, 1978.
