The Wichita Falls Railroad Museum in Wichita Falls, Texas, preserves the city’s railroad, streetcar, and pioneer history at Depot Square on the former Wichita Falls Union Station site. Founded in 1980 and based there again since 1992, it is known for rolling stock tied to railroads important to North Texas, including Fort Worth and Denver Railway No. 304, a 1906 steam locomotive with a long local preservation history, and Missouri–Kansas–Texas Railroad No. 1029, the first diesel switcher assigned to Wichita Falls. After closing in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, the museum remained active and has been working toward full reopening through leases, restoration, fundraising, and event proposals.
