The Dey Mansion served as Washington’s headquarters in July, October, and November of 1780. It was first restored and dedicated on October 8, 1934. The site was placed on the New Jersey Register of Historic Places on September 11, 1970, and on the National Register of Historic Places on December 18, 1970. A second restoration and re-dedication took place on February 22, 2016.
