The new East Pike Run War Memorial was relocated from the corner of Pennsylvania and Wood Street as a Troop 1423 Eagle Scout project by David Rager. A plaque from a war memorial formerly located on the California University campus in front of Gallagher Hall was also moved after college construction caused its relocation. The stone used to build the new memorial came from Republican School, its former location.
