The memorial honors all who served in the Armed Forces of the United States of America, especially those who were killed in action defending the democracy of the United States of America, and it was dedicated by the Moulton V.F.W. Post 6971 and its auxiliary. It remembers the fallen and says they are always remembered, not forgotten. Those named include World War I U.S. Army soldiers Edgar F. Merrem, Frank Geier, and Joe Pelech; Vietnam U.S. Marine Thomas W. Lentz; World War II U.S. Army soldiers Edward L. Biehunko, Jr., Robert Bohuslav, Rudolph H. Barta, Johnnie J. Culak, Felix Fuchik, Robert Haas, James T. Hull, Edwin J. Kubena, Wilbert Klobedans, John F. Kozelsky, Anton Kresta, Jr., Alvin A. Novosad, August H. Pilsner, Victor A. Palitza, George D. Pavlicek, James D. Richter, Adolph Rab, Emil R. Steinocher, Louis F. Wagner, and Leslie A. Wolff; World War II U.S. Air Force servicemen Eugene J. Hollub and Frank T. Jahn; and World War II U.S. Navy serviceman J. Vernon Meisetschleager.
