Lake Dardanelle State Park spans two sites on the shores of Lake Dardanelle, one at Russellville and the other at Dardanelle, combining recreation with interpretation of the lake’s natural and cultural setting. The park provides picnic areas, boat ramps, pavilions, playgrounds, camping, and fishing access. Its larger Russellville area includes a visitor center with aquariums, exhibits, classrooms, and a gift shop, along with a fishing tournament weigh-in pavilion, a barrier-free fishing pier, seventy-four campsites, and an outdoor amphitheater. The Dardanelle area adds eighteen campsites, while staff at both locations offer hikes, talks, kayaking, lake tours, demonstrations, and evening programs.
