Millard Cooper was honored in Sykesville for his unselfish devotion to the town. Known to friends and co-workers as "Coop," he served as a mechanic, Maintenance and Sanitation Supervisor, and policeman. He worked and lived in Sykesville and gained the respect and admiration of his fellow townsmen through his loyalty to the town and the strength of his convictions.
