Swan Lake State Park is a public recreation area in Swanville, Maine, at the north end of Swan Lake. The park occupies 67 acres along a lake about 3 miles long and roughly 1,370 acres in size. It is known for straightforward lakeside recreation, especially swimming, picnicking, canoeing, and fishing. Swan Lake’s fish populations include smallmouth bass, landlocked salmon, white perch, brook trout, and wild togue, giving the park importance both as a day-use destination and as a base for anglers. The park is managed by the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry.
