College World Series of Omaha, Inc. presented this to the City of Omaha on June 7, 1999, in celebration of 50 years of NCAA Division I Baseball Championship Games in Omaha. Sculpted by John Lajba, it was moved from its original location at Omaha’s Johnny Rosenblatt Stadium and rededicated at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha on June 15, 2011, to continue the great traditions of the College World Series.
