Built in 1903 by the White Oak Railway Company, the Oak Hill Railroad Depot is one of the oldest surviving structures in the community. It was leased by the Virginian Railway Company in 1912, then purchased in 1922, and is the only extant Virginian depot in West Virginia. A boon to early industrial growth in the area, it operated until 1983. It was added to the National Register in 1995.
