The Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum is a nonprofit science center in Reno founded in 2011 to serve children and adults with permanent and special exhibits centered on science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Developed from entrepreneur Chris Riche’s effort to determine whether Reno needed a science center, it gained major support and its name through a $4 million gift from the Terry Lee Wells Foundation. Housed in the former Reno City Hall, the 67,000-square-foot museum repurposes a civic building for interactive learning, with hands-on exhibits such as Mindbender Mansion, Inside Out: An Anatomy Experience, and Little Discoveries.
