Cedarville North Cemetery was designated a National Historic Landmark on February 11, 1988, as a site possessing national significance in commemorating the history of the United States of America. George W. Harper, 1825 - 1908, and Vinna M. Harper, 1834 - 1916, were significant to the cemetery becoming so designated.
