Tandy Hills Natural Area in Fort Worth, Texas, preserves 210 acres of remnant prairie near Interstate 30 and close to downtown, offering a rare view of the indigenous landscape that once covered much of the city before urban development. Acquired by Fort Worth in 1960 and designated a natural area in 1987, it is unusual for remaining relatively pristine so near the urban core. The site is known for an especially complete collection of prairie flora, with more than 1,200 native species, and for a spring wildflower display considered unmatched in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. In 2020, the protected area grew with the purchase of adjacent Broadcast Hill.
