Veterans of the United States Armed Forces who sustained physical or emotional wounds and disabilities while defending the rights and freedoms of all Americans are honored with unending gratitude. It also honors Prisoners of War and those Missing in Action, whose sacrifices have had and will continue to have an impact on all Americans for all time, and whose wars are not over.
