In Old Wethersfield, Connecticut, three neighboring historic houses preserve a concentrated stretch of early streetscape and domestic architecture. The complex includes the Joseph Webb House, the Silas Deane House, and the Isaac Stevens House, each interpreted to a different period from the late colonial era through the early national period and into the 1820s and 1830s. Together they offer a broad view of changing household life across generations. The Joseph Webb House and Silas Deane House are National Historic Landmarks, while the Isaac Stevens House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The site also manages the nearby Buttolph–Williams House, known for its early antiques and literary association.
