Lake Zahl National Wildlife Refuge is a 3,823-acre protected area in Williams County, North Dakota, centered on Lake Zahl. It preserves habitat for many species of waterfowl and other wildlife, making the lake and its surrounding landscape important for birdlife in northwestern North Dakota. Managed by the Crosby Wetland Management District, the refuge forms part of a broader network of protected wetlands in the region.
