Descendants of Don Vicente and Doña Rita Pérez Guillen De La Ossa, who had voyaged from the Basque area of Spain during the 1800's to what is now Southern California, erected this chapel at the foot of the family cemetery in 1958. Their son Don Antonio and his wife Doña Carolina Yanos completed a historical migration in 1880 to this serene valley and homesteaded with sincere commitment. From there generations have flourished. The chapel was built in honor of the love, courage and endurance of their ancestors and shall serve many generations to come, under the words, “With God and Love we strive”.
