Magnolia Ellis was a healer with a special gift who opened a clinic in Hot Springs, today's Truth or Consequences. Patients claimed to feel electricity when she touched them. Recognized by many notable doctors of her day, she helped put Hot Springs on the map and became known as “Magnificent Magnolia”.
