Salsa, Jr., Navy, 1918 – 1944, killed in action at Anzio Beach, Italy; Sgt. Floyd L. Jones, Jr., Army Air, 1921 – 1943, missing in action in WWII over the Burma Hump; C/M Charles Lee Ross, Navy, 1916 – 1944, killed in action in the Philippine Sea; W/O Edwin E. Steinberg, Marines, 1912 – 1945, killed in action at Iwo Jima in the Pacific; Pvt. Joe Coelho, Army, 1927 – 1951, killed in action in Korea; Pfc. Larry P. Lussier, Army, 1945 – 1965, killed in action in Vietnam; Cpl. Joseph G. Rose, Army, 1917 - 1943, killed in action at Attu in the Aleutian Islands during WWII, and in whose honor V.F.W. Post 7635 was named; Lt. Milton Cunha, Marines, 1919 – 1943, killed in action at Bouganville in the Pacific during WWII; Forrest Stamper, an Aviation Cadet who died in training in 1944 during WWII; Sgt. Elmer G. Tosta, Army, 1922 – 1945, killed in action in the Pacific area during WWII; Cpl. James I. House, Marines, 1922 – 1945, killed in action at Iwo Jima in the Pacific during WWII; Pvt. Joe L. Freitas, Army, 1929 – 1951, killed in action in Korea at Heartbreak Ridge; and Pfc. David Lee Martin, Army, 1947 – 1967, killed in action in Vietnam at Binh Dinh.
