The Williamson family cemetery was established in 1823 when Elizabeth Williamson, born in 1820, was buried there. John Williamson, a member of the North Carolina Regiment during the Revolutionary War, is buried there. The earliest-born family member buried there was Lucy Williamson, who was born in 1797 and died in 1864. The last burial was Bill Williamson, who was born in 1892 and was buried in 1962. A complete count of family members buried there is not known because some graves may be unmarked.
