Evelyn M. Vigil of Jemez Pueblo, Phan-Un-Pha-Kee (Young Doe), a descendant of the last remaining Pecos residents who moved to Jemez Pueblo in 1838, led a revival of Pecos Pueblo style pottery. She spent time at Pecos National Historic Park studying materials and techniques used by the Pecos people. With the aid of Juanita T. Toledo, another Pecos descendant, she helped recreate the glazeware made there from 1250 to 1700.
