Established in 1841, this cemetery served both Concord Baptist Church and the now extinct community of New Prospect, founded in the early 1830s. The church moved to a new location in 1876. Those buried here include Dr. Robert Brown, New Prospect's first postmaster, and ancestors of Gov. J.P. Coleman. The last known burial was in 1878.
