Sirita's Playground was built in August 2007 by the Lake Stevens community in memory of Sirita Jimmina Sotelo, with special thanks to Gary and Magda Malkasian and to all foster parents who open their homes and hearts to provide a safe haven for children in the community, and with the enduring sentiment, "Sirita, we will never forget you."
