Terry Badlands WSA is a wilderness study area in eastern Montana about three miles north of Terry. Managed by the Bureau of Land Management as part of the National Landscape Conservation System, it is protected under a designation for lands kept largely undeveloped while their long-term status is considered. The area is known as a protected badlands landscape near Terry and continues to be recognized as a conservation area.
