Lake Eufaula State Park is a two thousand eight hundred fifty-three-acre Oklahoma park on Lake Eufaula, established in 1965 as Fountainhead State Park and renamed in 2002. Developed with nearby Arrowhead as recreation grew around the reservoir, it offers swimming, boat ramps, fishing access, a marina, trails, camping, yurts, disc golf, and the Deep Fork Nature Center. Its most notable historical feature was Fountainhead Lodge, a two hundred two-room state-run resort hotel opened in 1965. Financial troubles led to its closure in 1984, sale in 1985, later resale, and demolition in 2008. The park remains an active public recreation area with a layered resort history.
