The Mt. McSauba Site, also designated 20CX23, is an archaeological encampment on a dune near Charlevoix, Michigan. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976, it is significant for preserving evidence of human use of the dune landscape near Lake Michigan. That preserved evidence makes the site an important part of the region’s archaeological record and helps document how people occupied and used this lakeshore environment.
