Beaver Lake Mountains
Nature
The Beaver Lake Mountains are a small desert mountain group in central and northern Beaver County, Utah, near the Millard County line and just west of the Beaver River. About 8 miles long, the range consists of three linked sections rather than a single ridge: the main Beaver Lake Mountains massif, neighboring Lime Mountain, and the lower Badger Knolls, with the separate Rocky Range forming a distinct ridge to the southeast. Reached most directly from Milford, the area is connected by Utah State Route 21, Utah 257, and unimproved back roads. It remains a lightly developed landscape valued chiefly for its geography and access routes.
