Henry F. Frizzell received the Medal of Honor as a private in Company B, 6th Missouri Infantry, for gallantry in the charge of the Volunteer Storming Party at Vicksburg, Mississippi, on 22 May 1863. He entered service at Fort Davidson in Iron County, Missouri, and was born in Roselle, Madison County, Missouri.
