Class 0-5-A Mohawk was a 4-8-4 type high-speed combination passenger or freight locomotive built in 1940 by the C.B.&Q. R.R. Co. shop. The locomotive and tender measured 106 feet 5 inches in length, had a light weight of 290 tons, a driver wheel diameter of 6 feet 6 inches, a starting tractive force of 67,500 pounds, and used stoker coal type.
