A memorial honors the men and women of the United States armed forces who gave their lives in service to their country and the Clovis community. It was dedicated on November 11, 2003, by the Clovis Memorial District, with Tom Wright as chairman, Joan Lassley as vice chairman, Susan Franzich, Russ Greathouse, Gordon Pickett, and Dennis Byrns as directors, Judy Hille as district manager, and Thomas King as sculpture.
