Kevin Earl Carper was remembered as a loving husband, father, public servant, and hero who was killed in the line of duty on February 27, 2007, after ten years of service to Spartanburg County; his sacrifice was said would never be forgotten, and he was honored with the words, “Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.”
