Callahan County honors the men who gave their lives in the service of their county to preserve freedom. Sponsored by Baird Rebekah Lodge No. 112 and erected by Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Cross, it records the county’s war dead from World War I, World War II, and the Korean Conflict.
